Donald B. Middleton, MDDonald Middleton, MD, is Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Vice President for Family Practice Education at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh.
He is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Past projects include authorship of the phone app, Shots by the AAFP/STFM. He is the editor of the 2019 digital textbook, The Comprehensive Review of Family Medicine, 3rd edition, and the 2018 recipient of the Duncan Clark Award from the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research for his career spanning work in prevention. Current research is on flu vaccine effectiveness with a grant from the CDC.
